What does bookhead.net do?

Our concept is simple - as you're no doubt aware there's a good number of book retailers on the internet, ranging from the big names to smaller specialist concerns. This is good news for the consumer as competition keeps prices coming down. However finding the best price and quickest delivery on the book you're interested in can mean searching through 10 or more web sites, which is obviously very time consuming.

This is where we come in! Tell us the book you're looking for and we'll search the online retailers for you - within a few seconds we'll tell you which retailers have your book in stock, what their price is and how fast they can deliver it to you. If you see a price you're happy with you can click a link to go directly to the retailers site and buy your book from them.

Does bookhead.net actually sell books?

No we don't - all we do is find the best price for you. When you see a price you like you click a link to go to the retailers site and buy your book directly from the retailer.

Do retailers pay to be listed on bookhead.net?
No. We search every retailer that we've found to have a record of giving good prices.

So how do you make money?
When you buy a book through our site the retailer pays us a small commission.

Sounds like a good idea but will I really save very much?

You'd be surprised! We've found the best savings tend to be on the most popular books - on average you should save at least 40% of the list price on current chart books. However we'd be disappointed if we couldn't find you a worthwhile saving on whatever title you're looking for. Please also bear in mind we're not just about finding the cheapest price, if the book you're looking for is rare it may only be stocked by one or two retailers - we'll find those one or two retailers for you in a few seconds.

Do I have to register to use your site?

Not at all.

How do I search for a book?

Use the search facility on the front page to type in part or all of the title, author or ISBN you're looking for. If you find you're getting too many results try our power search which will let you search on any combination of title author and publisher.
